Allied Health Assistant

Allied health assistants work closely with health professionals to deliver services to people with disability in a wide range of settings, including gym-based programs, hospital discharges, in the community and your home.

Working under the direction of a highly qualified allied health professional, such as a physiotherapist or occupational therapist, an allied health assistant is a cost-effective way to strengthen the network of supports you receive. An allied health assistant will assist you to reach your goals by implementing the therapy plan designed by your Physio or Occupational Therapist.
